 Covid-19 Isolation Relief Recipe Series

Produced with thanks using funding from the National Lottery Community Fund

These recipes have been produced to try and aid those in our community who are struggling with isolation or mental health issues during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have produced a series of recipe videos which will demonstrate delicious and healthy meals which can be made by a single person at home. At Cook Yourself Happier we are firm believers in the positive effects of preparing and cooking food can have as a form of mindfulness. It is our firm hope that cooking along with these videos, taking time for yourself, eating health food and getting exercise whenever possible will help ease feelings of isolation, low mood or anxiety in members of the community who cannot be with friends and family during this difficult time. Beginning in January, a new video in the series will be released every week until March.

If you know of someone who may be struggling with isolation and may benefit from these videos please do not hesitate to share them. We have also produced a series of podcasts aimed at showing other forms of mindfulness which may also be useful.
